Below are a selection of some of our diving database entries in Google Earth placemark format.
If you have Google Earth installed, click on a link and it should download. Left clicking on the pin will provide information from our database, as well as a link to the database page (at the bottom of the information.) Often we have photos posted in the database. These have not been included in the placemarks in the interest of size.
Google Earth may put these placemarks in the "Temporary Places" folder. If you can not see the placemarks after loading them, check to see that the "Temporary Places folder and all folders under it have a check in the box. If the box is not checked, Google Earth will not display them.
A word about location. Many of the locations listed here, especially those in Lake George have been verified by Club memberes (no gurantees as to transcription errors, etc but we are trying to keep it accurate.) Others are from published sources or private notes. Sometimes the locations are the best place to anchor rather than the exact site. In short, we hope to be accurate but no one is guaranteeing anything.
If you do not have Google Earth you can get it here
